My education started with Electrical Engineering (HTL Wiener Neustadt), Jazz trambone (Conservatory of Vienna) and Psychology (University of Vienna) and took me to business consulting, where I have been working for more than 20 years in the field of management diagnostics. During this time, in cooperation with the University of Vienna, various methods and models for guidance practice, such as the Vienna Potential Analysis ©, Vienna Teamanalysis© and the Vienna-based competence model© were developed.
Since 1998 I am CEO of LACKNER & KABAS in Vienna with a focus on "Applied Economic Psychology”. In addition to consulting work, I'm head of the department of personnel psychology of the Professional Association of Austrian Psychologists (BÖP), head of the personnel psychology curriculum at the Austrian Academy of Psychology (ÖAP) and member of the management team of division for work, business- and organizational psychology of the Professional Association of Austrian Psychologists (BÖP).
